Step by step

1. Heat 250ml of milk on the hob, in the microwave, or with a kettle and a saucepan, until it's hot but not boiling.

2. Add 25g of hot chocolate powder from the tin and stir until it's fully dissolved.

3. Pour into your Harry's mug.

4. Top with the giant marshmallows and give them a minute to soften into the top before you drink.

You can use slightly less milk than a packet mix calls for. It makes for a thicker, richer cup, closer to what you'd get from a café than an instant sachet. If you want to go further, a swirl of cream before the marshmallows go on works nicely, or a pinch of cinnamon if that's your kind of thing.
