Your mug has been hand thrown, hand glazed, hand fired and hand stamped by the wonderful Emma from Pen-y-Bont Ceramics. Based in Macclesfield, Emma is a local potter who teaches pottery classes and collaborates with fellow small businesses (like us) to 'bring nice pots to their shops'. We are very lucky!
The beauty of a hand made mug is that each one will be unique to the individual buyer- which is really special! And if your name is Harry then even better...
We loved both of the colour options from our sample batch so much that we just had to have them both, so it is up to you which one you choose:
Aquamarine is a brush on glaze so there is more texture to the mug.
Slate Blue is a dipping glaze so the texture is much more consistent.
